Edmonton, Alberta Black/Death Metallers DIRE OMEN have teamed with BraveWords.com for an exclusive stream of new song "Onward with Wounds of Disillusion." PALE DIVINE To Play Las Vegas' Doom In June Fest

Pennsylvania-based traditional doom metal have been added to the fourth annual Doom In June Fest, set to take place June 6 - 7 at The Cheyenne Saloon in Las Vegas, Nev.  

The band, who just saw the double-disc reissue of 2007's Cemetery Earth on Shadow Kingdom Records, will join the likes of NOVEMBER'S DOOM, SPIRALARMS, NIGHT DEMON, ACID WITCH and more for the two-day celebration of doom, stoner and heavy rock. LOUDBLAST Reveal Burial Ground Artwork and Unleash New Track

Channeling the spirit of early 80's metal icons like Dio and Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, with an added epic doom metal influence from Candlemass, Allentown, Pennsylvania-based Sinister Realm was formed in 2008 by John Gaffney (former Pale Divine) and Darin McCloskey (Pale Divine, Falcon). They quickly found vocalist Alex Kristof and recorded a four song demo that drew the attention of various independent labels. After signing with Shadow Kingdom Records a live band was assembled and a full-length album was released in August of 2009. Press from around the world hailed the debut album a success and Sinister Realm began actively playing live to support the album. Not long after the album's release Chris Metzger and John Risko joined the band and work began on the sophomore album titled The Crystal Eye. In the summer of 2013, Sinister Realm will release World of Evil through Shadow Kingdom Records. All hail Sinsiter Realm! The true defenders of American Steel.

Is Black Sabbath Still Black Sabbath?

     Bill Ward is not in the band... So is Black Sabbath still the same with out him. I don't think so! It is just strange that his is not apart of the band. He is one of the original members and he is not doing it because of money??

     We at least he is being sorta up front about it. But the fact that Black Sabbath is not paying him enough is it there fault? or Bill's?

Epica is Writing New Material

Dutch symphonic metallers Epica are currently working on new material. The band has already nailed down 11 tracks and will be hoping to enter studio sometime next year. The band had this to say: "Already about 11 new tracks have been written for the next album. We don't know yet when we'll record it (somewhere in 2013) but this material sounds killer so far! Wouldn't be surprised if many people gonna like those songs."

Dethklok New Album Details Revealed

Dethklok, metal band from Adult Swim's show Metalocalypse, will release "Dethalbum III" this Fall. The album features 12 brand new tracks and is set to hit stores in North America on October 16th through Williams Street Records. The cover artwork and tracklist can be seen below.
